Is this a fi BTL?

if its a 15" then yes it is a BL and those are rated at 1,000 watts but I run mine at 1,500 watts daily.

and speedy you can get double stacked on the new BTL's but they are rare.

Also, if it's a bad coil, would buying a recone kit be good? I have no experience in reconing though. Is it expensive for Fi to do it?

use a DMM to check the voice coils and if they are close to 0 or really high its a bad coil.

I forgot to ask what size it was because I thought it was an 18.

I would have said BL but that motor is huge for a BL 18.

but speedy would be correct if it is a smaller size because there are only double stacked new BTL's and those you can tell by the slope of the top of the motor.

BTW, what setting on a DMM?

btl's came with 2 slugs base line with an upgrade for a triple stack

o yeh i forgot about that....im jus used 2 seeing triple stack BTL's
