Yeh mine broke off awhile back....I knew the adhesives don't usually work and if they do like someone else stated you windshield will then crack....so mine sits under the backseat of my truck b/c that's where I threw it when it happened.

Amplifiers: Rockford Fosgate T8004 & T10001bd

Batteries: 2 Stinger SPV35, Kinetik HC2400

Electrical: Big 3, DC Power 290amp Alternator w/ MLA at 15.5v

Enclosure: 4.2 ft³ @ 33Hz 84sq.in. of port (20sq.in. per cube)

Headunit: Eclipse CD3200 w/ 80G iPod

Mids/Highs: Rockford T152s (a-pillars), Rockford T162s (doors)

Subwoofers: 1 15" Fi BL Fully Loaded

Wire: All 1/0g Kicker Hyperflex

I just took mine off the day i bought the car and learned to drive without it the metal thing is still their but mirror is long since gone like 4 years gone

Car is 2010 Scion Tc

Currently in car

Deck- Sony XAV-60 in-dash mobile video system

Speakers- Rockford Punch 6.5in comps in the front and coax in the rear

Subs- 2 Gen 3 Rockford P3 12's dual 4 ohm

Amps- Rockford P1000-1bd and P400-4 Alpine Mrp-f300 is in for P400-4 which is out to service

Wiring- all rockford nuff said

Enclosure- Dual 12in custom box by SRQ

Battery- Optima Yellow top with big 3 done

Sound Damping- All Dynamat products 1-2 layers throughout with liner on top

I find it hard to believe that it wont stick to your windshield with some form of an adhesive.

There are adhesives that will hold it....but sometimes it holds it so well that when your windshield flexes...it cracks it around the little metal thing...espcially in cold weather.

Yeah well thanks for the opinions everyone.

I have an appointment tomorrow at an Auto Glass shop.

I'm going to bump right there and we'll see if it works.

If it doesn't. fuck it.

But, the only bad part is is that I have Onstar cables that go into my mirror and has a little case that they go into.

There is no easy way to hide it.

mine falls off once a month. theres an auto glass place around here that i guarantee is starting to reconsider their policies haha. they will put it back on for free lol. the know my truck now haha.

I need to find a local place that will guarantee mine cause I kinda miss the little guy on the freeway...
