k3n12ock
It sucks but it's barely noticeable unless you look right at it so I wouldn't know how to get to it from the inside. Where do I get this CA Glue and how do I get to inside the surround without making the hole bigger? J00bles
silicone is the best thing to use. ca glue will usually harden the foam surround. people have used shoe goo, and ive used a glue called "aqua seal" which are urethane glues that are very strong and flexible as well. either of these would the best Quote 8 DC Level 4 M2 15s2 DC Audio 5ks26^2 clamshell tuned to 30hz9 Kinetik 1400sMechman externally reg'd 340 S seriesin a 99 Jeep Cherokee Click to see J00bles' Youtube Channel
Crump
From Rusty from DC and Nick from Fi told me when i put a hole in my sub, use 100% clear silicone, and put it on the rear of the hole. and let it dry for 24 hrs. chewie
most hobby shops will carry it if they carry rc airplanes.. flip the sub over and press from the ouside inward with your finger to expose the hole/edges of the hole.. apply a tiny dab with a tooth pick to one side of the tear. and then slowly back your finger away so the two surfaces mate. and then allow it to rest as it would normally so it doesnt deform.. and let it setup over night oh and another thing ask for the thick foam safe ca glue it has a higher set time and doesnt grab as quickly as thin or medium would but do whatever you feel is nessacary.. this is what ive used before and got great results but if nick and rusty say use silicone then i say go that route Edited August 21, 2009 by cerwinvega Quote 91 dodge colt gt.. 4 custom t600 15s audioque 3500d.1 tuned to 25 hz... stay tuned. blazer stroker 15 brutus bxi2006d terrible voltage drop 145.4@38HZ...
