Stuffing a big sub in a little SUV(UPDATE: Battery came today)

Recommended Posts

Ok well last night me and my friend finished up the box and I got everything installed today finally

Im jus gonna go ahead and say that even on just my little AQ1200D I can tell that this thing is twice as loud as the 2 15's, i do think that the box is not braced enough and that i need to get some t nuts n bolts instead of screws i broke 2 screws within the first 5 minutes of playing.

The box is 38.5" Wide, 22" Tall, and 24" Deep

The ports are 4" Wide, 20.5" Tall, and 16.75" Deep

All together it started out at around 9.88 cubes but ended up at around 6.8, with IIRC 145 sq. in. of port, tuned to 35hz

And it bangs, i should have a bid or two up today

that equals 164 inches of port so yea hella port

fivide that by your 6.8 and you got about 24" of port per cube goin on there. id be careful not to unload your sub
