lolitskasey Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I was wondering if the sundown SAZ-1500d amp was stable at 0.5 ohms. If so what is the rating wattage on it?
Team Nemesis-DJ Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 Yes it is stable to .5 ...power will all depend on electrical to back it
Nightshade Posted August 21, 2009 Report Posted August 21, 2009 I ran a pair of saz1500d's for about 8 months and I had them each wired down to .5ohms. With a rise at 1.7 ohms I made 1747 watts per amp. That's quite a bit of power considering that the amp is rated to do 1500 at 1 and I was making 247 watts more .7 ohms above where it was rated at. Now I have a pair of 2000d's and I make over 4600 watts out of the pair. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
