shit, i suck pretty bad, and i still love it, i hate the games that u give up at, just cuz ur no good... i only played on easy, tried on medium, but said screw it, cuz i couldnt get the hang of it...

I just picked my guitar back up after a 3 month retirement about 4 days ago. I have to say I'm more addicted now than ever lol, I beat medium and now I'm working on hard. Is anyone on here REALLLY good? Buy the song Jordan by Buckethead, the song is sick as hell and its sooo hard on hard or expert. Check out the one solo its nothing but random buttons. This guy is sick on a guitar, he has a killswitch on it to make it have a weird sound

i beat all the mediums and have 5 stars on almost all of them. Bark at the moon has my fingers twisted ive made it thru 9 of the hard songs but barely......i think they should introduce the extra keys like orange way back in the easy stage so you can get used to them. It can still be easy, but just use a orange once in a while to learn how to reach all the way over. It sucks because everytime they add a button like blue or orange they also triple the difficulty by also adding combo's. So you get to learn a new key and combos at the same time, while going faster then the previous level.......this game has NO MERCY for the weak LOL.

LOL you're right it has no mercy at all. I just put some stickers on my guitar finally so hopefully that boosts my score. Also another thing I had problems with on easy mode was that if I knew the song I would want to hit the "pick" faster with the song beat. But on easy one pick took care of like 3 notes, now on medium and hard I can do that. The song Jessica is also kicking my ass on hard. I've tried for 3 days in a row I can't get past 69%

Edit: what makes a song 5 stars? The most I usually get is 4 stars =\

hahha i hear that man, i put a Fi sticker on my Axe and i think my score is improving LOL!

i think a score of 97% or above gets you 5 stars....i hear you on the thing you were saying about knowing the song and "picking" a little early because your listening to the beat. I do that too. Ive been trying to teach myself how to strum down AND up to see if that will improve my speed but habits are hard to break.

The up and down motion is ridiculously hard, I cannot land it. Oh and thats why I have never had 5 stars is because the best I've gotten is 93%. Eh I'll get better I guess, I just haven't played in forever.

i can play possum kingdom pretty good on hard but thats the only one im decent at, at that level. I can play free-bird real good on expert until it starts to go nuts........that one is hard to play even on medium once it starts layin into you
