Amalan Posted April 10, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2007 Kinetik HC1800 i borrowed my friends dremel and started to cut the rear center armrest cause thats what needs to be open for the sound to come into the cabin. thats how it looks like normal once you remove the plastic cover you see a really thick sound deadening foam material then behind the foam theres a metal plate that had to be cut out and sadly the dremel bit i was using broke, but luckily i was basically done cutting out the plate. behind the plate there is some insulation and behind this insulation is the plastic peice you can see from the trunk so soon ill have made my way to the trunk lol. alot of people who have put subs in cars like mine complain about not being able to hear the subs in the trunk unless you have a ski port and i can completely see why. heres a pic of the box in my trunk ill post more pics later Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
