Straight Simple Green, undiluted. I was surprised just how good that stuff worked. I tried all that caned foaming stuff before and none if it did as good of a job as Simple Green. Had to brush a few places and hit it twice but most of the gunk just ran off with no problem. Warm engine and hosed it off.

Purple power is what I use, just make sure to read diluting instructions on back before use.

Can be picked up at Wal-Mart or Advanced Auto-Napa ( I think ), get mine from Wally World.

I don't do mine often, but when I do I use Simple Green. Works pretty good, and it's environmentally friendly...

all purple power is , is Castrol Super Clean but the cheap brand

i use both whichever is cheapest at the time.
