Havn't been doin much w/ this for a bit.

Today I put "mini-meade-45's" in there and went shopping for vinyl again.

I rounded over the front edge too w/ the router so it look s a lil better but no major progress.

Need to vinyl this ting up and get the trim insert painted.

I'll keep ya posted.

I hit up my bro who works at a shop and kinda mooched his account at keystone (Like Ray offered of his account actually-Helluva Guy that Ray )

So I got me some damn vinyl FINALLY!

Should hit it up tomorrow and have pix for ya guys.

Also, I had the GM Dark Blue metallic @ work (in Rattle cans) so I picked up a few cans for the trim piece/insert.

Lemme say this:

HUMILITY is a BIG DEAL IMO.

"Being the SH*T @ something", "KNOWING ur the SH*T", and REMAINING "HUMBLE" is RARE.

From my exp here, Where it would be easy to flame/pwn/etc some one not as skilled as yourself, you do an AWSOME job of not being a jerk about Pwning most of us (me for sure) on install skill.

Not to mention the fact we have only "met" via this site and you offer up ur help. Much thnx and props for bein a standup guy.

ALLRIGHTY THEN!

Sorry to keep ya guys waiting around on this one but I kinda had to put it on hold:

My mom had a 2nd heart attack and needless to say I have been super bizzy/concerned/running around etc and this was put on the back burner.

NOT to mention, the upholstry was trickier than I thought, so I dropped it off at the shop (where my bro used to work-just recently quit cuz they were dickin him around) to have it done and because the owner is a big baby, and wants to DICK me around and take as LONG as possible on my projects, it took WAAAAAY longer than it sould have.

So i finally have it back all vinyled and it looks sexy. I give it about a 7-8 out of 10-hard to tell if they rushed it last minute or just dint try as hard knowing it was for me, but it's clean enough, the only real issues are things you will never see once it's installed anyhoo.

Anyways on with the pix:

Vinyled up (I color matched the vinyl to the tan interior via my bro's account at keystone-they have everything- so no need to bother Mr. Meade on this one)

I'll have to trim a bit more to fit the neons in there

I didn't ask em to cover the back side-I said it could be open and I would carpet it if need be but they went ahead and wrapped it anyhoo. OKi.

This ALCANTARA vinyl is Super soft. Much nicer than the usual Jo-ann's fabric stuff I use.

So I also got a lil bit done as far as sanding/texturing/painting the front trim piece.

It's getting shot with "Dark Blue Metallic" to match the exterior of the truck.

This color Looks pretty nice IMO.

Sittin FLUSH. No room to spare in this setup.

To quote GP:

I'll get some better shots asap and post em up. Still have some coats of paint and then clear coat b4 the face is officially" DONE".

I havn't decided yet if I'll glue it in or just leave it TENSIONED in there as is.

I checked tho and it aint movin w/ mucho effort and it doesn't rattle at all.
