I have a 89, identical to yours but 2wd, that I'm building up right now for street/strip. I wish mine was 4wd sometimes though. Got pics? I'd like to see it. I don't know how many days I've wished I had a stepsside bed on my extended cab '92 or '96, those just look so sweet doe some reason. Either way you take these trucks, up or down, they look good. And yours is no exception. Keep up the work man. Thanks. Yeah, the steps look cool, but are useless that high up. I wish I had a pic of it stock. It was just as mean. It came with a dual exhaust from the factory, but you couldn't hear it. That had to be fixed, fast! LOL. I'm going to look and see if I like them. Thanks for the tip. I've actually got 2 grilles from the same year model truck (the one on there now is not the original) "need to lift it more." Hahahaha, I can barely get in as it is. If I lift it any higher I'll need a ladder to get in! I'm just under 6' myself. But that floor is taller than it looks. I have gotten used to it, almost. I hate having to get in after it's been raining. My shoes are wet and several times I've nearly broken something. And it doesn't help that I have a bad knee. Straight axle it!! I'm sorry, but I don't know what that means. I know I should, but I don't. And I'm looking for new axles anyway. I'm looking for some 3.73 gears, but no luck so far. Very sharp truck man.. Thanks. Instead of the independent front suspension. Also IMO, if you are already planning a gear swap, go higher than 3.73. Do at the very least 4.10 if not 4.56 (if you plan on going with a bigger tire in the future). Anti Peel and Seal...lol You may be offended by the above. Instead of the independent front suspension. i know, suprisingly(sp) the 10 bolt has held up so far, but hopefully one day it will be sitting on 1 tons and 40's. also 1992chevy for gearing go with atleast 4.56's, i have 4.56's in mine and it does pretty good with my 37's. but i wish i would have went to 4.88's or 5.13s. center console: lvl 4 12 1.75 cu ft tuned 37htz alpine cda-9886 dc audio 120.4 infinity kappa 6.5" components Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Looks like you have good places from your pictures. Not hardly. There are only 2 or 3 and I only go offroad a couple of times a year. The pic of me in the field was taken at the edge of a hayfield after the hay had been cut (family owned). I'm probably 10 feet from the road. It does get used though. Hauls me and my stuff around. Which is a lot (during the summer, anyway). Thanks for the comments guys.
