Hello, I'm still kinda new here, so I am going to have some questions along the way, this one might be a dozey for ya'll, how do I find my amp effeminacy rating.

These are the facts that I know about my amp,

Lanzar Digital Mono Block Amp

1 x 400W RMS @ 4 OHMS

1 x 800W RMS @ 2 OHMS

1 x 1000W RMS @ 1.3 OHMS

1 x 2000W @ 1.3 OHMS

1 x 4000W Bridged Max Power @ 2 OHMS

Mono Block Subwoofer Amplifier

1 Ohm Stable

MOSFET Power Supply

PWM(Pulse-Width-Modulated) System

Glass Epoxy PCB With SMD Technology

Gold plated RCA Inputs

Custom Terminal Block for Speaker Connections

Thermal, Overload Short Protection

Variable Subsonic Filter(15Hz~40Hz,24dB/Octave)

Phase Control 0-180 degree

Input Impedance:10K Ohms

Soft Turn On/Off

Heavy Duty Power Coated Heatsink

THD: 0.1%

S/N RATIO: 90dB

Input Sensitivity: 200mv~8V

Freq. Response: 10Hz~150KHz

Remote Bass Control

Fuse: 30A x 4

I need a little help figuring the numbers, I am running it at 1 Ohm, and should be around 1300 wts. Any help would be appreciated! I guess I want to know so I have a better idea what the numbers going to my subs are, to deceied to upgrade to another another amp, or bridge this one with another.

Okay, you didnt include a model or anything but after some looking i wasnt able to find any eff. ratings. imo its lanzar, and efficiency wont be the best.

are the output ratings a typo? it might be 1x2000 @ 1 ohm & 1000 @1.3.

Lol it has SMD technology

& by bridging it with another do you mean strapping 2 amps?

Current System:

Pioneer 6900 HU

Front Stage: (for now)

Soundstream tarantula 5.25 in the doors

Soundstream tarantula 4x6 in the dash

Kenwood 400.4 for mids & highs

Bass:

4 Soundstream RW-12's

2 Power Acoustik Stax 4000/1D's

single chamber box, 2.65 cubes.

Currently under the knife being bagged

seems like a lot of power out put (watts) for only drawing 120 amps ( 4 30 amp fuses) of current..

i cant remember if this is right but If an amp is 100% efficient (NEVER HAPPENS) 120 amps of current X 14.4 Volts ( also never happens with stock electrical ) = 1728 watts In a perfect world, which we are not.

So 1728 X .8 ( assuming 80% efficient) = 1382 a ROUGH estimate? If any of this formula is even correct. i Cant remember lol

lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz.

Since it is a cheaper amp... the 2000 at 1.3 is MAX... not rms... and by bridging.... it means bridging the channels... not strapping....

No its a mono block, so I mean strapping, sorry I did not really know the term until after I posted this.

Sorry the model is a HTG2600D

My math came up with about 1300 wts rms as well, so by me having 2 500wt rms DVC subs, I need about another 700 wts, so I need to get another amp, or buy a 2k rms amp..thanks for making sure I was thinking the right way with my numbers..

I'm a bit worried that you want to send 1kW RMS to a sub designed for 500W RMS. If you are running 1300W RMS out of the amp, each sub is seeing approximately 650W RMS as it is.

doesn't each VC need the 500?

No, 500 is what both VC will take combined. Or each VC will take 250.

good to know....that would have been not good, I have always assumed that it was each VC the power rating was stating not a combined....

No, it's definitely combined unless specifically stated otherwise.

Good luck with the system.
