Whenever I turn my lights on, signal, turn air on, anything it makes noise through the sub. It cant be an alt problem because I have my car off in the vid and it does it then. I have been told that I should ground my HU to my chassis. Which Ground do I use, the one straight from the Hu or the harness or both? 2loud4uboyz Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 You need to make a new ground wire at tranmission tunnel are somewhere on the floor pan. Make sure before you drill a hole for a screw there's nothing that you will be drilling into look first. Or some people run a ground wire from the negative post of the batriey. OH The ground wire from the harnes goes to the ground on your radio. Thats pluged into the factory harness. That should work if not make a new ground.
