Looks good man, but you have entirely too much extra $$ at your disposal.

I know you already had this older tahoe as your daily driver, but any reason you didn't buy a newer one first then install system... I mean the money you've spent between the mods you added to the truck and the two installs you could have bought a brand new tahoe, plus put a monster system in it. That is just what i would have done if i had the money you have spent up to this point. It's like putting tens of thousands of dollars in TVs and electronics in a run down shack.

i'd rather put a huge sytem like this into a paid off vehicle then buy a new one and make payments + put money into a huge system. if you got money like that then by all means throw a system in a new vehicle for me i'd rather not be paying a 700 dollar a month payment on a new tohoe. anyways sorry jp not tryin to jack your build thread just irritated to see that. after all its your money and noone elses buisiness what you do with it. keep up the good work.

Not sure if you read this whole build log on not, if it wasnt for the shitty workings of the place that he had his first install done at, he wouldnt have to be doing this. He was very lucky for his truck not to burn down in the process. He has not spent enough money in the 2 builds to even come close to be buying a new tahoe with a big system in it. New Tahoes are going for wat, $45+? and top of that, probable $10k in stereo equipment? So you are looking at close to $60k+ after buying the tahoe, and the stereo, and then having to pay someone to do all the work on it. He probably has no where near 60k in both of the builds. SHUT UP, SHIT DOWN, and watch where this is going.

^^^ You clearly have no idea what the 2 builds he has done truly costs... I'm not saying $60k, but wayy more than $10k. Then add on all the other mods(rims, engine, etc).

This is an awesome build regardless and will be a crazy daily driver when finished. All i did was ask a simple question and state my opinion, aparently a few of you for whatever reason got butt hurt.

Well you're a little late on trying to convince him to get another vehicle. Whatever reason he has for keeping this tahoe and doing what he has to it, is nobody's business. There are many people in this hobby that have more into their system than what their vehicle is worth...Me included. I don't know where you are going with this, but this will end here.

Oh I'm on the same page w/ the equipment being worth more or close to the cost of the vehicle it's in. I wasn't trying to convince him to get a new ride, just asking why he chose to go that route with it. Wasn't hating or anything like that, just curious. For whatever reason i guess people took offense to that. I won't keep going with it outta respect for you guys and Johns thread.
