Yeah, gotta guy who can probably design a whole system for me with a couple 12" hdc's lol. Just don't like the 43hz FS, looking a bit lower lol

dont worry bout the 43hz fs. tune em to 36hz and be done with it. i had 4 tss 15's on 2 m3's doin a 153@37hz.

Not sure they have anything that will take 3kw at 1ohm. The rl-p's MAYBE but I don't think so, not sure on that. Rl-s's are single 4's so that wouldn't work

RL-s is rated at 1-2k RMS even though its a single coil. check the website.

woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked

You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...

YOU JUST LOST THE GAMER.I.P. Blazer=========================Last setup was in the 141s on music (37hz) with 2 12s and 1kw in a 4dr blazer.2010 Mitsubishi Lancer DE2 12in Clarions (kept from blazer)HiFonics BRZ1700.1d (at 2 ohms BLOWN) [JBL GTS180X for subs currently 60wRMS x2ch!!!!!! This works for till i get the blown amp fixed] Alpine 4ch salvaged from blazer (currently near death)9887 peerless 7s in the doors and CDT tweeters ran active no speakers in the rearKintik HC1400 under the hood.metered once a while ago, dont remember it...was piss poor compared to the blazer, mid 130s i think....looking to replace subs and amp when i have money.

So umm, your not willing to use this woofer because of its FS?

Are you planning on a Free Air setup?

You do know that the FS really has nothing to do with how you tune your box correct?

The FS is the resonance frequency of the driver.

If you free air the driver you will have the biggest impedance peak at the drivers FS frequency.

Using the copper coil or the aluminum coil on the driver will change the drivers FS, as well as the speakers moving mass, spiders, etc.

Almost forgot...

BigPimpin on these forums is running the AudioQue Hd3's. I think he has 2 now, and he is tuned at 28 or 29hz if I remember correctly...

So that totally makes your FS argument useless.

Thanks for that, my a$$ is nice and crispy now lol. But let's keep this going. To clarify my space, 32w x 13.5h x 28d. Now after sub displacemetns and port(s) which will most likely be aero's. Looking for low end mainly but not a SQ setup.

Staying with the 3k...for now. Might upgrade to more power later but that'll be a while so just assume the 3kw.
