LSN2meBoom916 Posted August 2, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 2, 2007 Technically right now I'm only responsible for building the trunk and amp rack and Lawrence is gonna have his buddy wire up the car cuz he can do it for less$$ than I would have to charge him for me to do it. So once it's "done" then I send it off to get wired. Then it'll come back to me to put amp in and connect everything to it and tune the car. Hooray for not having to do the "bitch work" Just the fun stuff. I DID have today off work to hit this thing up....but I didn't get far. My moms van decided to stop starting so I had to deal with taking the battery out, charging it, testing it etc, then wait around at my shop till the truck showed up (our restocking truck) since we were out of the battery I needed for the van. DEEEMNIT! Few hours down the drain but what can ya do? Moms needed the van put back on the road and my brother needed a ride to bowling. I'm uploadin the pics of the lil I got done today. Will post em asap. The front panel is cool, I "pwn" that section as far the part that will screw to the front of the outer enclosure and seal it up w/ the plexi and all....today I put some lil "fillers" in the top coreners to bredge the gap between front panel and rear deck lip. Here's how they "fill" and I sprayed em and the rest of it w/ some black just cuz it was buggin me to be all multi colored and silly lookin instead of a uniform finish... Keep in mind this whole panel will get covered, and the panel that covers it will go all the way to the edges of the trunk to really seal/fill all gaps. top view THIS PANEL/LAYER RIGHT HERE IS WHATS PISSING ME OFFF!!!! I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
