What Type of solder do you guys use?

Recommended Posts

I bought some shit from lowes a while back, when i didnt know how to do shit, now I can solder decent. Its not too pretty but i couldnt pull that mofo off, and the wire really seemed to pull it into the lug, and i put a cap on it. Anyway the shit i have is the Oatley 95Tin/5 Antimonio (whatever that is) I just felt like practicing, I havent used it in someones install yet, but i want to.

So i guess the ? is does it matter what solder I use or is solder solder? I know meade uses Rosin (sp) core 60/40. So what do you use?

i use rosin core(thats what i says on the label), its better if you can get a thicker one so you can solder faster(specially for 0 gauge terminals)
