BanginOnABudget Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 just thought i would start this to help along anyone who cant decide on some 6.5" comps but wants them cheap. whatever yall have, pitch in, and im talking internet prices, because if your looking for cheap, thats where youre going to look anyway. my choice: Alpine Type-S Components. inline crossover system for tweeter, meaning theres no little box to mount. i had a set when i was a noob and i cranked em off of a 1000 watt amp, and they never blew, OR distorted. looking back, im AMAZED. swivel tweeters werent that bad either ;] nor was the tweeter mounting options. what do yall got? im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt. Pioneer 6.5" and 5.25"s temp. until i can afford the new crescendos. Pioneer 6000ub Reciever NO amps at the moment. SA-15 on 1kw coming soon. MSG Me for a free enclosure design!! sho_me Posted September 17, 2009 Report Posted September 17, 2009 im runnin a set of kicker comp 6.5" 600.2's runnin off a 240w x4 their not bad sound really good imo gave like 68.00 bux i think 93 Civic Hatch kicker components in doors [ak11667] 12:12 am: hook the speaker outputs up to your nipples and turn the gain all the way up

Ive heard the RSDs also, theyre also a great choice. woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...
