Off topic but why did RF buy MBquart and then they turned around and sold them fairly quick?

Does anyone know?

Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.

Do mbquart amps pack the power or are they over or under exaggerated?

I asked this about a DSC1000.1 amp a few weeks ago, I got my answer from the man at Maxxsonics himself.

Sorry for the delay. I have been traveling a lot lately.

YES, the ENTIRE Discus series is RMS rated at 14.4V. In fact, the DSC1500.1D is 1600+and the DSC2000.1D is 2200+.

I would have to look at engineering reports, but I believe the DSC1000.1 is a high 1000wrms with a very clean output. ;)

Note that A/B class amps are very power hungry, but will make good very clean power given you have good electrical.
