Planning a box for a volvo trunk..and was thinking of firing an 18 inch woofer back ..angling slightly upwards due to lack of trunk height inside. My question goes to porting the box out the rear deck. wondering on phasing, and just general lack of output seeings how the sub box will be right up to the bottom of the deck. The only air coming from the front of the woofer would be going beside the box into the back seat. most trunks have the box small enough that the port and woofer are in the trunk. never tried this before. ideas?????
