Well, got bored today so I decided to see what 1 of my 2500 Sundowns could make this baby 8" sound like in the T-Line. I know T-Line are for little power etc, so I need no schooling there, but like I said, this is just for testing purposes... So with that out of the way, I removed the 4ch old school MTX, and installed the Sundown, set SS/LPF/Gain accordingly and to my surprise.............It sounds even better :) Driver doesnt even get warm (YET!!) but let me say this: That MTX amp got freaking HOT (Always did, even back when used for my front stage a few years ago) This Sundown stays COLD to the touch for the last 1 hr i've been tuning/playing with it.. Brian and I will be clamping it later tonight to see what im actually throwing to the driver. Will update the results when we capture them.. Also in this pic you can see my OLD SCHOOL AutoTek MM 600.4 amp. Great amp, front stage sounds very clear, and if I could ever try out a DD1, Im sure it would be even better :)

mmmm.. 2500 watts to a 200 watt 8" sub in an oversized T-line.. that gain has to be turned somewhere to the negative side lol.

Well.......... YEAH  We'll do a vid tonight if the little RE 8" survives :unknw:

**EDIT** Brian, the 8" is RMS'ed @ 175w ... LOL

Holy jesus, been a LOOOOONG time since updating this thread. Obvious events have led me to ditch the 4 18 build and since ive been using 1 8" in a T-Line for about a year now and cant believe the sound from it, im upgrading to a ground shaking 2 of em :unknw: Also, about 3 weeks ago i scored a US Amps HC100 off here that will be powering them at minimal power. Not going into the deatils of the amp, but if your O/S like i am, you know what the HC100 can do ;) I made a "amp coffin" for it and it will be installed guts up, as we all know real O/S US Amp "amps" have plexi bottoms, so i want to install it like i did with all my past usamps. Here are some pics of whats going on:
