tristan560
If you use .75" MDF, you will have about 9.3 cubic feet of airspace. Not enough for the LVL4 18"s.Even if you walled it in (assuming this is the cargo area), you wouldn't have enough airspace for 2 LVL4 18"s. Huh? Are you serious? Do some research before you give bs info. Walling the cargo area theres about 17-18ish cubes depending on how the box is built. come on man... Yeah, there's about 18.1 cubes (according to the best info I could find). EDIT: That's assuming he doesn't want to build around the wheel wells. If he does, he could get even more. tristan560
Are you dead set on keeping it below window line? Because of the wheel wells you cant get any more than 11 cubes. Thats before displacement...and your best bets gonna be port back so you wont be able to use the whole 36" from seat to hatch. Youre gonna need to leave some room for the port to breathe. inm
As of now, I'm just playing around with ideas... I have no money right now, so I don't plan on actually building anything, anytime soon at least... I would like it under the windows line. I tend to look through my rear view quite a lot, and if its above the window line, it would bother me... haha That should also answer the question about wall or no wall. 1992Chevy K1500
With some creativity, you could actually fit 3 LVL4 XL 15"s. EDIT: You wouldn't be able to port back. It would have to be sub up / port up. EDIT 2: I'm really bored, so I'm just throwing ideas out there to keep busy. siucsaluki11
Ive got a few drawings ive done for blazers. You can fit 4 15s or 2 18s. You will NOT be under the window line, but you can fit them. EX, 4 15s, 12 cubes, 30Hz 12 cubes is enough for 2 18s. wL<3bass
My current box for two 15s is 8.2cuft after all displacement with port back (not under windowline)....I would do two DD9518g or two Sundown NS18s.....both like 4-4.5cuft per.
