DSTRBD
Hey guys, I'm upgrading my audio and I need some help with wiring things together. Any opinions will be appreciated. Source unit: JVC KDAV7100 The Amps: Clarion - APX4241: 4-channel Clarion - APX1301: mono block Speakers: (FRONT) Clarion - SRP6920M: 6"x9" components (MIDDLE) Clarion - SRQ6931R: 6"x9" 3-ways (REAR) Clarion - SRQ6931R: 6"x9" 3-ways Subs: 2x Clarion - SRW1251 Now... Would the subs/amp be able to handle running in a 2Ohm configuration? It has been recommended to me that I run the FRONT and REAR speakers off the amp and the MIDDLE speakers off the head-unit. Any opinions? I would like to use all available power I can from this setup. Oh, and can someone say, FREEBIES?!?! "Zip, Zero, NADA!" Thanks in advance, and as I said, any opinions will be helpful. Blazerslapp
Dont matter about the ohm load for the sub..its the amp you have to worry about, low enough of a ohm load and your amp might want to start fires in your car 2-SSA EVIL 18's American Bass VFL 1100.1 Down .5 Mechman 370amp Alt 6-XS Power D3100's 4th Order B-Piller Wall 3-AP2004's 1-APMini1200.4 4-AP 8's 8-DB Drive S3 6.5's 4-Selenium Tweets 2-DB Drive Super Tweets YouTube- HatrixCOD

bigredishott
I think, I would amp the front and mid speakers. Rear is for fill, needs less power. Yes, your amp can run 2 ohms, it'll put out about 400 watts into one channel....so you're going to be running two subs off of the recommended rms rating of one which is severely underpowering them. Add another one of those amps ASAP if you can. I'd amp the front and middle speakers, rear's off the deck.
