Prime example of rice:

A Chevy Cavalier with an unnecessary fiberglass body kit, hood scoop, Pep Boys wing on the trunk lid, and a no-name eBay muffler.

Prime example of a tuner:

A Nissan 240SX with an SR20, CA18, RB20/RB25/RB26 or even VQ35 swap, limited slip rear diff, full roll cage, racing harnesses, and some carbon fiber body parts.

And the car in my avatar, a Nissan Silvia S15, is pretty much always going to be a tuner car.

Would be ricers. They look fast (not really) but aren't.

That car looks clean and decent, but looks more like a luxury car than a race car. If you make it look like a race car, but can't back up the look, it's a ricer.

thats stereo typing.. it doesnt have to be an import to be a ricer.. but guess some one of ya see it black and white.. but if your a car enthusiasts, you will appreciate the beauty of the car regardless if its import, domestic, euro, etc..

a quick example of rice would be

- The POINTLESS wings (spoilers) that do not belong anywhere near a car.

- The fartcan exhaust that was clearly bought at autozone or pepboys. (i once saw a SS camaro with TWO of these )

- And the Decals for every POSSIBLE tuner company ever made. (because Decals secretly add horsepower :ph34r: )
