JacobHall103
Hey guys, my two 8's in a ported box on a ZX 300.1 Kicker Amp have been making this horrible noise it almost sounds like a fart, is the best way i can describe it. The box is right behind my seat in my 1990 Chevy. Ideas on how this problem was caused and how i can resolve it and is it serious? -Jacob

JacobHall103
First thing that came to mind. i guess if it was rubbing against something the only thing would be the seat, and like i said, i put grills over the subs to keep it off the seat and it didn't make a difference. Skullz
If you have a ported box place a hand over the ports and see if that stops it, if not pull the grills and lightly tug on the surrounds to see if they have broke free from the basket. Skullz
Pull the subs and check the spiders or anything inside the box itself that could cause anything wierd. Like a plastic bag that may have been sucked in or something.
