white4d96
Just finished an application for Best Buy as an installer, hopefully I can persuade them to sign me on even though I don't have the six months job experience they ask for. Anyone here apply or work at one? I know they don't have the best reputation on here but a job doing what we love is what I am looking for right now. Quote Too many projects, too little time... Bacy2k
honestly, i was trying real hard to get a job at best buy, anywhere really, preferably in the car audio, then try to transfer to the install bay... damn near impossible to get that job in my area lol... and you know what, forget everyone and theyre rants about best buy. when it comes to this subject, all that shit doesnt matter when it comes to you having a job. that only plays a role when somebody is talking about doing an install, and theyre thinking about using best buy... but man, if u got a job, doing what you love, and your getting experience, and decent pay, whats not to like? i say congrats to you and good luck Quote Alpine CDA-9886Hertz Mille 3 ways active Hertz SPL Show 8's 2 Audison Voce Quattro's2 DC Audio M2 Level 5 12'sDC Audio 12.0KKnuKonceptz Wiring4 XS Power D3100'sDC Power 390XPSecond Skin Damplifier Pro and Dynamat Xtreme
HHR Ed
I applied and actually got hired as a Lead in the install bay about a month ago. But I turned it down because I got a better offer with a different company, but now that fell through so I am screwed. I could clean up my friend's car I installed a system in and maybe show that to them... Quote Too many projects, too little time...
loganberry
wouldnt hurt, show them that you know what your doing and that you can make it look clean, there not gonna hire you if your shit is sloppy, be confident too thats prolly one of the most important things Quote My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk

00_XJ
Just tell them you used to work for a circus and you'll be the first on the list to get hired. J/K man, if the closest best buy wasn't 45 minutes from me then I'd apply there too. Money is money as far as I see it, no matter where (legally) it comes from.
