bgaccord Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 well i have a rf t2000 and a type r 15" on stock alternator with redtop under hood and yello in back,i went to local alternator shop and there selling me a 150amp alt for 199,should i upgrade or get better batteries?stock is 90amps
ugpbmx Posted October 15, 2009 Report Posted October 15, 2009 i would upgrade. so in the future you wouldn't have to worry about the alt going out, if you decide to go bigger audio wise. Cause when u upgrade in the future u dont have to upgrade ur alt again. and thats just money wasted imo. and honestly i wouldnt trust that to be a true 150 amp alt. 2000 White Dodge Durango 5.9L Flowmaster 40 Series through 2 1/2" with and open cat. 1 Dc lvl5 18 4 6.5 seleniums and 2 D200 Selenium Horns on Rockford 500.2 Big three upgrade and a kinetik HC1800 in the back with all 1/0g knu wire shootin for 145+
