The bold has me worried.

Plus:

According to the site, it has a 250 amp fuse included. It claims 8000 watts at 14.4 volts, but even at 100% efficiency at 14.4 volts at 250 amps, it would only do 3600 watts. At 80% efficiency it would do just over 2800 watts. It might do what it claims, but I highly doubt it.

Plus the THD is a little high. Most good, high quality amps of similar power have closer to 1% THD from what I've read.

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

I have never heard of it, but from looking at the specs, it is 2 amps in one case, and the Distortion is higher than what I would normally like to see at rated power, so at 3K Rms it is at 3.5% I would normally not get a Class D amp that is above 1%.

it only claims to do up to 3400 watts not 8000......

I'd hit that so fucking hard whoever pulled me out would be King of England.

Lol... looks like we were on the same page. Car-B-Ques suck.

ya, tires and paint burning make the marshmallows taste funny.

The case and internal pics look very very familiar, can't quite remember to what though.

But that amp only does like 3k and the price tag is astronomical.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Pioneer AVIC-N2

looks like an older stetsom 6k or 7k type design. Those amps were kinda fragile. Its actually 2) 1500w amp boards side by side in one case.

Actually, thats like the older Hifonics Colossus design too. Which was a fantastic amp that did 3200w
