ewww i tore mine out of the benz box to put a 4 in when i switched subs.....i think if u go to partsexpress.com and look at them they mention what size hole is required

hell I even went to the precision site and it didnt say it just said cut hole size of inside flare........

hell if u have room from the sub holes I guess u could cut a 3 1/8th" hole and assemble it in the box if u plan on keeping ur box 4 a while.....

english please. i hate trying to put 4 into x and 6 into y and what not. algebra was a few years back.

basically, when u are finding the port length in whatever program/equation you are using, divide the box volume by the number of ports you have and then find the port length. that number is the length each port needs to be.

as far as the diameter of a 3" port idk..the 4" diameter is 7.25" (a 3.25" difference) and the 6" is 9.5"(a 3.5" difference)...so i would say it would be a little under 6.25"... i would just cut a 5 7/8" hole but leave room if in case you have to make it bigger...

i likes me some audio stuff...
