kingcabon20s Posted September 19, 2010 Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 wheres ft stewart im in covington bout 30 min east of atlanta.. truck looks so sik .. the slam bags are known for seperating at the bottom but not blowing we drove my wifes car from ga to ca and ca back to ga and has been over a year since then and the bag just blew last week and wasnt because of the seperation they just got old like 4 years old LoL and it was the side blew out not the bottom. sully Posted January 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted January 24, 2011 Yeah, right now I'm in Eastern Afghanistan. Status has the truck working out all the small issues that were left when I left. They are removing the ball joints and putting in what looks like heim joints to get the spindle out of binding when it lowers and the firewall needs to be tweeked again to get it to lay out the last half inch in the front. They are still looking for a lincoln truck interior to put in it, the only ones we have found so far are tan and I want grey so it may be a while before that starts. From what I can tell the dash will fit with some minor modifications and the seats and console will bolt right in so it should be a good look when it is done. It's far from finished but there isn't much I can do from here, with any luck the suspension and paint work will be complete by Heatwave this year.
