Believe it or not.....I'll be adding to that this week before I gut the car for new recones. These lvl 5 10's are no joke. Coils dont stink, spiders are perfect,cone is still sound, surrounds....they are a lil worse for wear. LOL There is alot more that can be done with these guys and alot more power can be thrown at them. I think I heard someone suggest 2 14k's for burps.....I might just have to try that!! What does it sound like when a surround cuts loose? Remember the XL has the same suspension as the lv5 does. Honestly i have never ripped a surround on any of my DCs. I had that problem with DD subs once in a while. Have you used Shoo Goo to fix your surrounds? That stuff works wonders, much better then duct tape.
