i thought "bullet proof glass" was lexan ?

i have a website that has up to 5" plexi if ur interested...

Bulletproof glass consists of polycarbonate layers or other materials that are similar but it still has glass layers to it (the glass layers will crack spider if impacted just like regular glass would) so it would not really do me any good. Plexiglass is much weaker then lexan so lexan would be my best option if the new glass does not hold.

Finally got this thing to a meter on a location where the cops don't get called

Did some testing tonight on a single saz4500D

test 1

4500D @ .7 nominal

4469 watts

2.7 ohms(rise)

over a 153 down to 28hz

155.8 drivers window down

156 outlaw (drivers door open)

153.2 both front doors wide open

Thanks, I am just getting started. I have not flared anything at the mouth of the enclosure yet and there are some things that should still be strengthened more.

36-44hz stays within a 3/10ths range of that score right now.

The freq in the test videos was 39 and 40hz

27hz? in a 4th order? Are you saying that is the tuning of the ported chamber or what your hitting the dash at? If you have to tune that low for score in a 4th order your sealed chamber needs to shrink a good amount regardless. The ported chamber should be tuned higher then your loudest frequency (are you sure you calculated it correctly?). Slamology might happen depending on my work schedule.

prett sure it was calculated correctly. maybe you can check the math for me? its ugh 16 or so cubes on the ported side, with 300 square inches port, 12 inches long. sealed is 4 cubes ... 2 18s

imma shorten te length and see what happens. still testing different things. i peaker @ 45 hz iirc. so i should tune 45 hz and up?
