jcm1689 Posted May 11, 2007 Author Report Posted May 11, 2007 stoped at 5 layers its pretty damn sturdy especially with the clumps matt stuck on the inside. with me putting all my weight into it i cant get it to flex or move the slightest little bit so i think it will be fine.....bout to go sand the glass down by hand since its too late to use power tools http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif and then bondo it up and finish painting the inside. just realized i need primer so ill have to grab that tomorrow before i can paint the top. the rest is getting grey carpet to match the interior. jcm1689 Posted May 11, 2007 Author Report Posted May 11, 2007 well ended up not falling asleep at all and working all night. and all i have to say is especially when your tired, sanding fiberglass by hand fuckin sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and besides the fact that i cut the shit outta my hands and can no longer fell my fingers since i basically sanded them off it fells like i got nothing done even after working for six hours. didnt feel like sanding down all those resign drops again and i had extra resin so i just pored some in the bottom to smoth it out kinda hard to see but everything inside is now painted white kinda shows how the subs on the outside will look inverted im gonna give my hands a break for a little bit but still planning on having this done by noon which only about 5 hours from now. i think im gonna end up wrappin the whole thing cuase i really dont wanna mess with paint, plus i dont think my hands can take anymore sanding and im kinda starting to think it would look better all wrapped R.I.P.
