I run a little case 170amp alt (Acura Integra ls) , 2 XS D3100's relocated in the rear with Knu 1/0 wire. They are also my main starting batterys as I ditched the little 51R group size one under the hood.

Running a single Sundown saz-3500d @ 1ohm , the voltage never drops below battery rest 12.9v-13.2v and usually is around 13.6v running full tilt. I keep them charged though but if I roll around with the amp off the batterys will stay pretty full , just charge to keep them topped off.

I set the idle on the engine to 2,000rpms so the alt is putting out as much as possible at idle. Factory warm idle was 600rpm.

2000 Trans Am ws6 - 6spd / M9 / cam / full bolt-ons / semi full suspension / tune

1998 Integra - daily beater, [2] AB XFL-1244's / 4ft³@35Hz, 61in² / Saz-3500dv1 @.85Ω

i have a dc 270xp alt and a yellow top under the hood... 5 runs of zero gauge to the rear with a batcap 4000 in the trunk

saz 2000d amp... and im always at 15.x volts... never any drop... i'd say you'd be fine
