creyc
There's a few spots in my new wall build that have outside corners that need fiberglassing and they've all be giving me headaches. I can glass up the inside seams of a regular box, no problem. But with these outside-seams everytime I wrap the cloth around the edge I get a large air bubble on both sides of the corner that will NOT stick down. The cloth won't wrap tightly enough over the sharp edge and it's giving me tons of extra work to fix it. Does anyone have a solution for this? Sand the sharp edges down soft maybe? Use chopped matt instead of cloth? Anything? 2001 Chevy Blazer (2) SAZ-3000Ds (2) custom 18" Madmax subs in a second row wall Rockford 600-4 Pioneer PRS components Pioneer P800PRS deck

skittlesRgood
why are you glassing the outside edges? If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. creyc
Thanks guys. I'll try chop mat and a roller today. And they're outside-corners where the box wraps around the wheel well. 2001 Chevy Blazer (2) SAZ-3000Ds (2) custom 18" Madmax subs in a second row wall Rockford 600-4 Pioneer PRS components Pioneer P800PRS deck
Rainman215
Thanks guys. I'll try chop mat and a roller today. And they're outside-corners where the box wraps around the wheel well. Yea. Use smaller pieces of mat. dont try and go over the corner directly. use 3.4 strips that somewhat overlap around the edge... bobonit
Unfortunately, mat does not fold that nicely. I would get some 3/4oz chopped mat (thinest I can get) and tear it up good, and just work it down. 97 Maxima SE Bunch of shit going in, check out the build Build Log
