loganberry Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 if i have the motors from 1 sub can i just buy a basket and soft parts from another and put it together? assuming the voice coils are the same...im wanting to use the lvl 5' motors i have and go to 18"s but maybe btl or nightshade basket and soft parts...its 3" coil now, will any other 3" coil work i dont understand how to go about this My F-150 Build GET ON THE BANDWAGON what if they tried messing with the amps when the subs werent louder hahah jk Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
AI James Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 Ightshade and dc baskets are the same fi basket being 12 spoke you can use it np as far as coil you need the inner and outer coil gap dimmentions measured with a micrometer with frankenwoofers its hit or miss wether you end up with comething better then what you would have with a stock unit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
