reconing to larger size?

if i have the motors from 1 sub can i just buy a basket and soft parts from another and put it together? assuming the voice coils are the same...im wanting to use the lvl 5' motors i have and go to 18"s but maybe btl or nightshade basket and soft parts...its 3" coil now, will any other 3" coil work i dont understand how to go about this

Ightshade and dc baskets are the same fi basket being 12 spoke you can use it np as far as coil you need the inner and outer coil gap dimmentions measured with a micrometer with frankenwoofers its hit or miss wether you end up with comething better then what you would have with a stock unit
