there is no way to guess what spl a system will do before it is built car makes a difference enclosure makes a difference interior fabric makes a difference also electrical... 1 12 in an average everythink should do mid 130's

Anywhere from 100-160db, unless you're alan dante and it will do 187.6 off 17watts in his secret enclosure.

Btw the XLs can already handle 3k daily as long as you're not an idiot with them. Something like an SAZ-4500D @ 1ohm would work out perfect for the pair. I'd run like 4.5ft3 @ 34hz W/ 55-65in^2 of port if you were to go that route with the amp. Also need to remember that when running that sort of power, electrical upgrades will be necessary(HO alt, multiple group 31 batts, multiple power/ground runs). So if you're planning out the cost of everything, remember to put the electrical upgrades in before the amps or woofers. Because it's pointless to attempt to run a system of that power if you can't actually keep the voltage up to make that power.

1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer... New setup, old ride... QX56 is staying stock til I get loud... It's only getting walled off if I don't meet my goal @ SBN.

Pioneer AVIC-N2

(12) 12" RE SXs old model.... (3) AB VFL 500.1 @ 1ohm each

Dual 300amp Ohio Gen alts.... (10) Northstar NSB-125s

26ft3 @ 33hz w/ a ton of port area

156.5 @ 40hz @ dash, Db Drag style / 153.2 Bassrace

I had my XL on 2900watts of clamped power daily.. and it was clean power.. Sub liked to get hot and stinky.. I wouldnt recommend 3k rms daily.. jus my opinion
