it depends on the car... only real way to find out is hit up the tl... in my car it's louder with the passenget window down and drivers down half way... all cars are different

I demo how I would listen to it daily. Both windows down.

If you're loud enough, there is no need to do any of that. :P

But, if you're going all out, open your door and make them put their head in the kick panel area on the passenger side.

Or Closed door and window passenger side and open your drivers door.

Usually good from anywhere 0.5-2db louder.

I used to let people sit in the car sealed up, then mid song or after they're getting used to it throw the drivers door open. I used to gain almost 3 db at the dash like that, so it surprised them all over again :)

haha that's awesome if you're loud enough to pull that off... i don't get a big gain as of now with that

If they are in the passenger seat then all sealed up except for drivers window or opening drivers door. But the demos I give are usually just with both windows down like how I normally listen to it.

Not sure about dbs but in my situation mine is wayyy louder with both doors open..i havent opened all of them..what sucks is crank windows..so when i'm driving through town its not as loud as it should be outside

I demo my car with both windows all the way up and the sunroof open. That's how I drive around with it too. I rarely roll the windows down at all. I'd rather turn on the ac than roll with windows down I guess.
