doug118
I'm already thinking about building a different enclosure soon and tuning it a bit lower and somehow porting into the cabin. any ideas? if you want to keep the back seat up, then I would say run 2 ports and fire then through the rear speaker holes, unless you don't mind cutting a big hole in the rear deck lid. which I wouldn't do just because that car seems to be in perfect condition and well taken care of now if you don't mind having the rear seat folded down, do what this guy did. I personally think this is the sickest honda civic trunk build out there right now http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...c=52439&hl= edit: after looking at your box, I would just try turning the box around and firing it straight into the cabin and see how it sounds before you try building a new enclosure. then you can decide from there on how you want to build the new box 2001 Tahoe. Carnag3
Well, I certainly don't want to cut into the car, and I don't want to have the seats down, so I guess I'm stuck with trunk bang. I could possibly take out my 3rd brake light on the rear deck and port thru there, but I don't know how well the back window seal will like that. 2000 Blazer 4dr -24" Boss 330s -Lowered 2/3 -5000k Hids w Projector Retro -Candy tails -LED interior lighting -20% tint 35% windshield -Alpine 9886 HU -RF P1462 Dash -RF P1652 Front -RF P1652 Rear -Two 18" Fi BTLs -MB Quart Onyx 4.80 -Two Audioque AQ2200Ds -Xs Powerr D5100, 2 Powersafe G31s -Knukoncepts 1/0 wire -Mechman 270 Alt w Boost Module -10.4 Net @ 28hz 140sq.inch of port My Youtube Channel!! kirill007
On the vid it looks like it hits hard, and it looks really nice. But don't you think that the beauty panel obstructs a lot of air? It could be louder if you faced it forward, instead of backwards. Thinking is the root of all problems... jdmferio13
what size rims and try facing it the other way ive got a 98 sedan.I have my box facing the other way and i love it.How is your voltage with no alt and just that batt and more pics of box and where did you get the paint
Carnag3
16" rims....I've heard that the best trunk setup is sub back, port back. I think it sounds pretty brutal already, but it would be nice to get some air into the cabin. Voltage sits around 12.1v at full tilt. By the way, I am still running a regular battery under the hood. I plan on getting an alt after the holidays. btw, more vids uploading now. 2000 Blazer 4dr -24" Boss 330s -Lowered 2/3 -5000k Hids w Projector Retro -Candy tails -LED interior lighting -20% tint 35% windshield -Alpine 9886 HU -RF P1462 Dash -RF P1652 Front -RF P1652 Rear -Two 18" Fi BTLs -MB Quart Onyx 4.80 -Two Audioque AQ2200Ds -Xs Powerr D5100, 2 Powersafe G31s -Knukoncepts 1/0 wire -Mechman 270 Alt w Boost Module -10.4 Net @ 28hz 140sq.inch of port My Youtube Channel!! Indianabobo
u mentioned re doing it and turning it into the cabin? maybe a halfwall from the trunk. i have exactly how it will look in my mind i jsut cant put it into words. takes the top aprt of the abck seat out and build the box from that back into the trunk kinda. but damn that has to be one fo the cleanest setups ever seen! 1998 VW Jetta- SLOW N LOW 12" TC sounds 3hp BB2400.1 Kenwood Exceleon HU Kinetik HC800-works for 2ohm loads:D My youtube Video's CHECK THEM OUT! Carnag3
^ I like to be able to have passengers in the back seat, so building anything that would rely on the seat being down or removed is out. I'm thinking in the future the easiest way would be to add another btl. What do you think about subs facing up in a trunk and port facing back? 2000 Blazer 4dr -24" Boss 330s -Lowered 2/3 -5000k Hids w Projector Retro -Candy tails -LED interior lighting -20% tint 35% windshield -Alpine 9886 HU -RF P1462 Dash -RF P1652 Front -RF P1652 Rear -Two 18" Fi BTLs -MB Quart Onyx 4.80 -Two Audioque AQ2200Ds -Xs Powerr D5100, 2 Powersafe G31s -Knukoncepts 1/0 wire -Mechman 270 Alt w Boost Module -10.4 Net @ 28hz 140sq.inch of port My Youtube Channel!!
