Okay, two of my friends were installing a new cd player in a durango. They cut off the factory harness and tried to jus connect the wires but didnt know which ones were what. They called me to come over and i told them we needed to know what the wires were on the truck first(reason for this thread). We got the wires straight but now the cd player wont stay on. It'll turn on for a couple seconds but then it cuts back off. Anybody know what this could be?

yea we tried the factory ground and they grounded somewhere else but it was before i got there so i dont know where they did it. I'll ask him about it tomorrow. could it be anything else?

Forgot to add that it only worked when the Constant 12V+ and the Switched 12V+ connections were reversed
