Guest Nismofreak Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 So I go to best buy to get a wiring kit for my car. Some guy was doing a install in a dodge neon like 1995. Anyways he doesn't disonect the - wire and told him to. Like a smart ass he said no I don't and said do what you want. So the guy who helped me out went to go get the cable, second you know the "certified installer" was installing something and heard a loud pop. It ends up he installed the head unit touched the + and - wire . It was so funny and started laughing and he felt like a retard. Anyone got stories about best buy or other installs that you told them they are doing it wrong and end up doing it wrong? Quote

Guest Nismofreak Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 yah got another one. My friend got a 1995 corolla and told him that I can install his equipment. So goes to bestbuy to get it installed. I said wow they suck. So he is like look how loud my system is and said what a piece of shit and spend $600 for 2 pioneer 4inch coax, installation, and a jvc deck. I told him that i can get some good components, a alpine deck, 4-channel amp, and wiring and have $50 left. Then he started crying cuzz the next day his headunit wouldn't work cuzz they hooked it up wrong. I started laughing. Quote
ChevyBoy Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 it would play with a single 18awg wire, so someone was toying with you or something. Quote

Just ASKING for a fire. Damn, now that Circuit city is firing 9% of their workers, the ones that have been there the longest & probably DO KNOW what they're doing will most likely get canned.
