Recommended Posts

i was cleaning up my engine compartment today ( hiding wires better), so i disconected my battery to make more room, when i was done i put the battery back in an now my headlights wont turn on, the interior lights come one an on the gauge cluster the brights indicator is on even tho the brights arent, i tried turning the brights off but the indicator stays on an neither the brights or lows will come on.... anyone have any ideas? is a constant bright indicator a sign for bad fuse or relay or something??? thanks for any help

My guess is a blown fuse or a bad bulb.

Did you disconnect any wires while cleaning them up? If so, check, double check, triple check, and quad druple check all wires to insure they go where they're supposed to.

If you didn't disconnect any wires, ignore my post.

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

this is whats confusing me the most, the ONLY things i disconnected was battery an the fuse on a run of 2 gauge to the rear battery, so idk what could have changed
