I know alot of people are saying that the audioque 2200d's are very underrated. On the right electrical setup and if I can keep 14.4 or so volts. How much wattage I can get out of those amps. I'm just trying to see if I should go with the level 2 or level 3 12's.. I'm kind of partial to 12's cause I will like how 6 12's would look in an extended cab s-10.

if your set on 12's get the level 3 12's the 2's will probly fry or you could get 6 level 4 12's and another amp

Team S.M.D.

Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1

- American Bass 500.1

- 60 ft of 3/0

-480 Ah of battery

- (2) stock alternators (70 +90)

- Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts

car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

4 18's would be better =)

Lol at the girl "it probably not going to do it" sure proved her wrong! Sorry didnt mean to go off topic. But I would try and steer away from odd numbers on the amps. Cause of the wierd ohm load you'll get.

  • 2 months later...

What kind of eletrical set up would I need to push the 4 15 level 4 on 2 audioque 2200d or 4 18's level 4 with 4 audioque 2200 d???

I'm guessing I would need to do dual alternators for the 4 18's and would I need to do the dual alternators for the 4 15 level 4's
