CFAIST
Product: American Bass XD 12"s Manufacturer: American Bass Purchased? Factory Direct Rateing 1-10: 10 all the way. They get loud, play low and sound Supriseinlgy good doing it. I have sincce sold them but they will ALWAYS be my go to cheap sub! Bought these things about 2 weeks ago and have been tuning and tweeking since. As for build quality they are Actually built rather well for being built over seas. Good sized motors on them. Tall surrounds. Have them in the Trunk of my Focus sedan Powered by a Hifonics Titan 7506. (on loan till my new amp arrives.) I have them in a 5.2 Cu ft. (gross) ported box tuned to 32 hz. I was Very dissapointed at first with there performance. Played low but nothing to get excited about. So I did what I always do And beat the small port out of the box and Put the "right" sized slot port in it and these "cheap" subs came alive! they can move the body panels and windshield on the Focus now with just 750 watts. Can't wait to throw 1500 at them. I'll try to get some pics and video as soon as I can. All in all don't be afraid of them. they can take a beating and sound pretty good. Great daily beater sub C.A.R. Team Neo - Eric
Our team captain uses 4 of these in DB Drag Super Street No Wall and the 140-149.9 bass race class. They are powered by 2 American Bass 500.1 amplifiers. The setup burps a 155@43Hz. The subs are pretty stout and can be rebuilt.

These subs are animals. don't now about TL numbers till spring but as far as Flexing the hell out of my trunk lid and ear drums goes. DAM! Vid's going up on youtube as we speak. Look me up on there CFAIST1 Some of my first vids look kinda weak. Got the setting on the camera figured out now. so I'll be posting Better quality now. As for the four in Vernon's SUV on youtube, they are actually HD series. that's What Bob told me anyway. But that thing is Loud as hell none the less. C.A.R. Deeznutz
I picked up 2 of these for $70 OTD and they do play loud. I put them in a custom originally made for a pair Memphis Audio C3 12's, 3.78 cf 3" ported box. The box is very close to the American Bass manufacturer's specs, maybe 1" shorter port than recommended on line. Loud as hell, but does not get low with certain bass notes. Might be the box they are in as stated before. Can't beat them for the money, if you can find them cheap and build the right box. Might be better for 1 note wonders/SPL rather than SQ. IMO. -Frank
