Bass Knob Cord!

Looking for a bass nob "CORD*, do not need nob itself. Any length will do. And no, telephone cords do NOT WORK.

After going to nearly every shop in fair oaks, rancho Cordova and Carmichael. Ive decided that im prob not going to find my cord.

The cord must be able to work for a 1501BD Rockford Fosgate amp. Its not the thick cord, its only the 4 prong one. Ive tried 3-4 different 4 Prong ones FROM fosgate, but none were able to work on my amps. I belive it has to be from a 1501BD so..

And possible a recone for a XXX 18 2005! (i doubt i will ever find one of these)

whatup man! If you are finding the 4 contact phone cords and they arent working then either your amp or the knob is bad. Any 4 contact phone cord should work for that TRUST ME i had 9 of those amps (still have 7) so i think i know

If you tried the ones FROM Fosgate and it didnt work then that really tells me the knob is probably bad.

I've had a couple Rockford Knobs sitting around that I have tried to use on some installs. They seem to have a larger plug than most knobs...

the older ones use the 4 prong standard phone cord.

the newer ones use a cat-5 cable like on your computer.

Well, the "stock" cord that i have, on a "WORKING" amp works JUST fine.

Now, i have another RF cord that just does NOT work anymore AND another amp.

Ok so, i have 2 cords and 2 amps.

Amp 1 works, amp 1 cord works

Amp 2 works, amp 2 cord does not work.

I plug amp 1's cord into amp 2 and it magically works.

I plug MULTIPLE phone cords into amp 2 and they do NOT work. I even had a BRAND NEW cord i got at a stereo shop, 4 prong adapter, this also did NOT work. But yet the cord i have that came with amp 1 still works in amp 2.

Picky amp? None of the cords i tested worked on amp 1 either so.

i have one... i use to have a RF amp.. long black cord. i have the bass knob too.. i had to go to BEST BUY to get it.. it was like 14.00 at best buy... I am in Gridley.. will have it ready if you want it friday??

well i dont know what to say, i had 9 bd1500's and 8 installed at one time.....all on standard 4 prong phone cords that worked fine.
