JD_214
Has anyone heard of this brand "SPL" or "SPL Audio"? I saw a 15" sub in a catalog that was this brand and it didn't look to bad so I was curios how it performs. Any body have any experience? Here's the link to their website http://www.splusa.net/
OrionStang
They advertise a lot of xmax. Small box specs. Wouldn't mind getting my hands on a couple of them to 'test' on my 2500. JD_214
i believe its made by power acoustic yea I think it is too... I've got a wholesale catalog and they have they're big sub (15 inch "2800 watts") for like 90 bucks I figured it was worth trying out if the sub would output at least a fourth of what they advertise... I'm not expecting much though
p43rw
yea I think it is too... I've got a wholesale catalog and they have they're big sub (15 inch "2800 watts") for like 90 bucks I figured it was worth trying out if the sub would output at least a fourth of what they advertise... I'm not expecting much though I TRIED THE SUB AND THE AMP.... THE SUB WELLLL NOT TO MI LIKING....I WAS TESTING THE 15" AND WELL WHILE 800W RMS WAS DECENT BUT AS SOON AS I USED A BIGGER AMP IT COULD NOT HANDLE IT .... BUT THEIR AMPS GIVE OUT WELL LET'S PUT IT THIS WAY I AM USED TO ROCKFORD POWER SO I WAS CACKLING CAUSE I KNEW HOW SADISTIC MY TEST WOULD BE .....AND IT CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD ....... IT PUSHED 3 15'S SO HARD THAT I WAS AMAZED AND IT DID SOUND CLEAN......IT EVEN PUSHED IT BEYOND WHAT MY OTHER AMP PUSHED IT EVEN THOUGH IT HAD 500 WATTS MORE POWER BUT FOR A CHEAP AMP I WAS EXPECTING A LOT LESS..... SO NOW I AM GOING TO TRY THE SPL GRLA 5500/1D SEE WHAT THEY DO ON SOME BTL 18'S :hairtrick: Quote bass a fillia
