go to my computer->right click-> properties->Advanced tab-> click settings on Startup and Recovery-> uncheck the box Automatically restart.

Next time it fails itll give you the "blue screen of death" but itll give you an error code. write that down then post that back in here or google it.

i hate that blue screen... lol when i got it it only popped up for a sec (thats each time)

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer

its a gateway, get a new computer fast. but seriously, everyone i have known with a gateway has had major problems with it. im never going to buy any products from them ever.

Problems like his arent because of the company who make the computer. Problems like this occur from I/O Errors.

i just get tired of people making generalizations like they have ran every single model of a prodect and know the ins and outs of it.

cause you have it set to restart when you get that blue screen. if i were you id turn it off so next time it happens you can write down the error and google it so you can see whats causing it
