Box in the car: This is the car: Primed the flushed rings, gotta sand them a lot more before I can paint them black... That's it for today, tomorrow I'll put the ports in and carpet the box. Then I'll start wiring. Forevrbumpn
not bad man, I love the braceing and counter sinking... now throw some aero ports in the back :-D I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy. sean 371
Got enough work done today to hear it. Still gotta find a better ground and hide remote and signal wires. This setup sounds amazing! And by that, I don't mean it's loud. Because it isn't really. But that's just how it seems to me because I'm used to a lot more bass. But this box is super precise, nice and punchy, and adds a perfect amount of lows to the stock system. My friend's happy, so I'm happy. areo ports courtesy of precision ports... threw some sound deadening down... paint/ports in: what am i "cooking" in there?? it may look horrible, but those fuckers aint going anywhere. duraglass with resin filled over it. carpeting... Let me know what you guys think! I gotta clean up the outsides of the port...Not sure what I'm going to do there...dull razorblades are no good A couple links to some box builds: Tahoe Box 1, Tahoe Box 2, Nissan Titan, VW GTI, Mini-Bump, Hummer H2, Ford F-150 My own car builds (current setup --- under construction): Overall Thread, Kickpods, Dash, Back Doors Subwoofer Wall
