Idk if ur lac has those rubber things around the stock terminals, But Im thinkn about cutn em off and putn ring terminals on em. Wont need as much space? yes mine has 2 rubber terminals so u need the long gm post... the negative is the smaller size... i would not cut the rubber off... just get the stinger bolt i gave a link to because it has a second screw so u can put ur power wire after the stock wire goes on, much simplier But yea Idk where Im gunna get my power wire through? Thats really all I got left to run electrical wise (besides the big 3)... I know its pry still shitty out where your at but all I really need is a pic of where you ran your power wire through. Thanks in advance man, Ur build is lookn real nice! follow the steering column boot, remove the two pieces of plastic that cover all the wiring below and then peel back the rubber with foam around the boot (looks like a big black gromet) now that u know where its at... get a friend to reach down in the again towards the firewall (u can fit, believe me, its tight but u can) and cut a small hole for the wire and push it thru til ur friend grabs it im takin pics asap today for ya
Decaf Posted December 29, 2009 Author Report Posted December 29, 2009 next to steering column, block by the plastic i said to remove headunit and volt meter... the trim piece for the dash kinda squeaks so i removed it for now removed rear deck, cut out storage hole and cut out metal behind armrest and removed armrest completely thru the armrest hole, duct taped to hold the amp board and the trunk trim piece was smacking so killed two birds with one stone looking down the hole i cutout in rear deck amp board is behind sub box, so i have to remove box to rewire anything, but i can access the amp settings thru the rear deck and my ghetto duct tape job!! seriously this is how cold it is, theres frost on the gasket and dustcap 300a fuse, still need to secure it but its not moving, soon ill get an Odyssey pc1500dt for under the good... an added 25ahs long stinger gm side post with addictional screw for ring terminals firewall steering column gromet is below those wires about 3 inches another shot for ludacris its been a rough year for me, and im glad to have something in my car... kinda smooths over some rough edges i dont know when i can upgrade my electrical... likely ill just do battery, then big 3, then alt, then rear batts, then sound deadening if i ever do... i haz no moneyz so its as good as it gets now ill take vids ina few days... so far i have crazy response from 20-33hz, 34-40hz is kinda lacking but i think that has to do with weak electrical/power and box placement, 40hz-60hz is pretty nice, very happy with that, 60-100hz is nice and punchy and not strenuous... u would think i have more power than i do currently my aq2200d is at its lowest gain setting +1 click... i really dont need to use a dmm because im not trying to push anything hard, just trying to have something that works... low pass is all the way up, since i use my headunits 80hz@-18db crossover subsonic is at 15hz... only because i know every note i play and im tuned to 30hz flat so im not worried about that and my subs move less than 1/2" but still sound good... (great box! wink) the way i see it, if u cant play 20-80hz u are doing something wrong, its so stupid to tune higher and not play low notes just to get higher spl numbers... 40hz and below is where all the fun is at

Decaf Posted December 29, 2009 Author Report Posted December 29, 2009 weak sauce, i know minor Woofa Pron... u can hear a car's motion sensor going off from 25hz notes Certiflyed Click - U Know I Stay Fly (iirc) Put On (25hz)... my cam didnt pick up the window flex... it was COLD ill try to get another vid not around my apt so i dont piss the neighbors off from uber low rumbles and i dont know my voltage drop... if i have none i can turn it up more til i do, so i can get some more movement

Pry cus I was tryna figure out the run on the passenger side? Ur way looks a hell of a lot simpler tho! No pics with that black cover piece off tho? I know the general area where its gunna go but I cant see the exact spot. If not its cool, Ill figure it out when I get under the car n peep out the other side Rebuild in progress...
