ugpbmx Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 i have one optima red top under the hood and one in my bed. i ran a positive and a negative from the front to the back. my question is can i just run a negative wire from the front batt to the frame, and from the back batt to the frame in the back. so i don't have to have two 1/0 wires running under my truck. MY TRUCK BUILD - 1976 F-100 Ranger. Fully built 482 big block, 4 DC lvl4 15's in a blowthrough, plenty of custom fabrication. MY HATCH BUILD - 1993 Honda Civic DX Hatchback . Clean daily driver, dropped, subtle customization.

IMO it's better to have that negative wire going from front battery to back battery, I don't personally like grounding extra batteries, or amps, would rather run directly off battery terminal. ugpbmx Posted November 24, 2009 Author Report Posted November 24, 2009 ok ill leave it. the only reason is im gonna be getting another battery soon. and i could take the wire that is left from just grounding to the frame, and use it to connect the new batt. but it would probably be better to just buy more wire, so i have the best connection between all of my batteries. thanks for the feed back.
