Super clean, and almost SILENT on the outside. Package claims 120db@20hz, and they will play sub 30hz with ease. I have a pair of the ink'd ear buds from skull candy, and the bass response is actually pretty good. I'm thinking of trying out the new beats by Dr. Dre in ears since I can pick them up for 75 bucks. Decaf Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 ink'd go down to 20hz iirc alot of other skullcandys say freq response starting at 100hz!! v-moda's are what i use to do my thing... if u dont mind harsh highs if the seal is good enough i swear at ~25hz it feels like the ear buds are pushin themselves out from all the pressure get 2 pair for $15 shipped on ebay, usually the jade green ones are for sale cheap

Nic Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 sony extra bass if they are the smae ones i got... pain in the ass to get in the ear and keep in perfect placement... i got skullcandy ink'd and love them... great bass and sound and ive been seeing them for 18$.... buying 3 pairs next week for back ups... Full eclipse system is next on list.. soon to gut and redo the honda as new project/rolling buissness card i miss the sound of those old school strokers on beast amps
